Any drive icon showing a color other than black

represents a member of a logical drive or a

dedicated spare. Black is the default color of a

new or used drive.

* A used drive is a drive that had been used as a

member of a logical drive.

LEDs

Galaxy Web GUI automatically identifies the enclosure type and

displays an exact replica of it in the panel view.

LED icons shown on the enclosure view correspond to the real

LEDs on the subsystem’s rear panel.

If an LED corresponding to a failed component is lit red as shown

in the above screen, move your mouse cursor to the red LED on

the enclosure panel. Let the cursor stay on the LED for one or two

seconds and an enclosure status summary will be displayed.

An informational message: Command-processed

message sent from the firmware

An Alert message: Series errors that need

immediate attention and corrective acts
