Chapter 4: RAID Array Maintenance

Individual Disk Drive Maintenance 4-11

Step 2. Select a member drive you want to clone. Firmware

will automatically select the first available Spare drive

(usually the Dedicated Spare) to clone the specified

member.

Step 3. Select the Clone type you prefer. Perpetual Clone

means the source drive will remain the member of the

logical drive while Replace after Clone will bring the

source drive offline when the clone process is

completed.

Step 4. Click on the CLONE button to begin the cloning

process.
